Have a reptile you can no longer give the adequate care for?
I will take any reptile or amphibian in (almost) any condition, as long as it is safe for the reptile to be physically moved.

admitting your faults and giving your pet a better home even if its not yours, is the best decision you can make in this situation.
My background: im a 19 year old hobby reptile keeper, I have a deep interest in conservation and animal welfare, I grew up with reptiles my whole childhood, some of my earliest memories are catch and releasing garter snakes in my yard with my dad, and helping him with his snake breeding side business, at 6 years old i was given my first snake, a corn snake by my uncle, 13 years later the corn snake, after some years my dad shut down his breeding business and ive since fallen out of the breeding and morph scene but my love for these animals has only grown.

my respect for these animals and my belief that every animal has a right to a happy and safe environment and goes beyond a pricetag or a check, along with it being unsafe for a previously stressed animal, its also morally wrong for me.
