Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing outstanding customer service
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist with reservations and ensure accurate information is entered into the system
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
- Perform night audit duties, including balancing accounts and generating reports
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of front desk operations in the hospitality industry and knowledge of the Choice Advantage system are beneficial
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is an advantage
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable for this position
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
