We are looking for a committed teacher to teach at our experiential learning summer camp! In this role, you will provide knowledge and instruction to eager students while inspiring a lifelong interest in STEAM, Sports, and Hobbies.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about engaging students and know how to create a fun atmosphere.
Previous classroom experience or camp counselor experience is a big plus.
Our camps are well known for being highly engaging and memorable, so please be patient and reliable and have an arsenal of ice-breakers ready to go.
This is a great opportunity for school-year teachers or coaches looking to make extra income during the summer.
*Requirements*
* Lead onsite summer programs in Columbia, SC from 9-12
* Commute on-site to the campus and assist with arrival and dismal procedures
* Include in your resume any extracurricular interests and leadership
*Responsibilities*
* Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use the programs we have created to facilitate learning
* Provide instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
* Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.
)
* Communicate class observations to VineyardAppCamp (VAC) team and problem-solve for ways to improve the curriculum for your students.
*Skills*
* Experience as a teacher, tutor, camp counselor, student instructor
