Summer Camp Counselor
Full Description:

This position may work with children ages 2 years to 12th grade.
POSITION SUMMARY
Essential Duties
Part-time, Monday - Friday, flexibility with weeks available.
Temporary (June-July)
Creating a safe, caring learning environment for campers
Maintaining a structured schedule that includes time for snack, fun activity, crafts, and free time
Taking attendance
Keeping detailed sign-out records to ensure campers are picked up by an approved individual
Preparing snacks
Planning activities and crafts
Self-motivated, high energy, and a sense of humor necessary
Additional duties as necessary
Specific Job Skills
Previous experience in child care
Team player
Ability to work at least 3 weeks in the summer between the dates of June 10th-July 26th except July 1st-5th (July 4th Holiday)
Working Conditions
Heathwood Hall is a large, expansive campus and frequent outdoor walking between buildings is a necessary component of this position.
