Assistant Toddler Teacher (6 months experience required)

Lead Teacher About St.
Martin's Preschool: We have a lead position in our older toddler class.
There are 2 teachers with 10 children (11 children max).
Our core hours are 8:30-4:30.
We have aftercare 4:30-5:30 which you will be asked to cover once or twice a week.
We follow Richland 1's calendar for closures.
You will get paid for holidays, 2 weeks for Christmas break, and 1 week for Spring Break plus accumulate PTO each pay period.
Duties: - Follow a daily schedule on a consistent basis - Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans written by lead teacher - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for students - Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning atmosphere - Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students - Assess student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience - Update the Brightwheel app with daily happenings, pictures, monthly calendar and parent newsletter.
- Contribute to a loving and supportive work environment Experience: - Minimum of 6 months of experience as an assistant or floater teacher working with students in an educational setting (Experience working with toddlers is preferred.
