Child Care Center Director

Palmetto Academic Learning Station is looking to hire director.
A Child Care Director is responsible for overseeing the full operation of their center.
The director is to ensure that children have a safe and fun environment to learn and develop.
Their duties include hiring qualified childcare staff, setting budgets for anything childcare related and proactively communicating with parents to accommodate their child’s needs.
The director is also responsible for keeping in compliance with all government agencies.
(ratio and etc) Training the staff on proper way to uphold the mission of the center.
Must be able to pass an Central Registry as well as Fingerprint background check ·Must have reliable transportation Requirements and parent’s expectations: • Oversee staff: Staff management is probably the most important task of a Child Care Director.
They must interview, hire and train staff, making sure that all background and fingerprint checks have been conducted.
If there is a co-director, the director delegate certain jobs to co-director to help with overall load of center.
• Manage facilities: The Child Care Director must make sure that the facility is safe and well-stocked.
(Creating budget) That includes checking that safety equipment is available and working, removing hazards, and ensuring the facility is always clean and orderly.
• Market the facility: There is much competition between daycare facilities, so the Director must have a marketing plan to promote awareness of the facility and its services.
• Meeting up with parents and teachers: A Child Care Director will meet with parents andteachers to keep parents up to date on policies and procedure.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.
00 - $20.
