Child Care Director

Child Care Director Duties: - Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
- Develop and implement educational programs and curriculum that align with state regulations and promote the intellectual, physical, and social development of children.
- Train, hiring assistance and evaluate child care staff to ensure they meet the necessary qualifications and provide high-quality care.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to enrollment, attendance, health records, and staff certifications.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers, therapists, and social workers, to support children with special needs or behavioral challenges.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in early childhood education through professional development opportunities.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Education Administration or a related field.
- Previous experience working in child care or early childhood education settings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Knowledge of state licensing regulations for child care centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with higher education teaching methodologies is a plus.
