Responsible for accurately updating and processing university exemptions to ensure that tuition and fees are calculated accurately.
The individual will maintain sponsor contracts/billings to guarantee student payments are received and processed in a timely manner.
Manage the processing of loan checks which are sent directly to the school and ensure that those loan checks which are made payable to the school and student have been properly endorsed by student prior to payment being posted toward the student account.
Work with Financial Aid office to return federal aid when requested by the student.
Assist Director with daily office tasks as needed.
*Minimum Qualifications*
Associate’s degree with 12 semester hours of accounting related courses and 2 years clerical accounting or bookkeeping experience, or high school diploma and 4 years related experience; or equivalent education and experience.
*Knowledge/Skills/Abilities*
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Must have the
ability to work with minimum supervision and must have good organizational
skills, communication skills and public relations.
