Koger Home Care is seeking a Children's Personal Care Assistant in Northeast Columbia area.
The CPCA candidate must be well-versed in working with children with autism and/or developmental disorders.
The CPCA will perform various ADLs assistance such as transferring, bathing, dressing, mouth care, grooming care, light housekeeping tasks, companion service, meal preparation, performing medication reminders, pick-up prescriptions, planning/implementing educational activities, etc.
The CPCA caregiver must have a positive attitude, experience in child care, and be able to redirect and provide prompting.
The CPCA will be cross-trained to provide services for our adult clients as well.
The caregiver candidate must have a minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable professional children caregiver experience, pass the 10-year SC SLED Background Check/Drug Screening; and have a negative PPD test.
The CPCA caregiver candidate must have a valid SC Driver's License, auto insurance, and a personal vehicle.
Additionally, the PCA candidate must be COVID-19 vaccinated, and be able to work with pets in the home.
